Last updated on: April 12, 2026 General Terms and Conditions De Strandloper Zeeland 1. General These general terms and conditions apply to all reservations and stays at De Strandloper Zeeland. By making a reservation, you agree to these terms and conditions. The main booker must be at least 18 years old and responsible for all co-guests. 2. The Accommodation The studio is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults. The stay of children and babies is not permitted. Pets are not allowed, unless agreed upon in advance. 3. Reservation and Payment Reservations are made via the website (via Smoobu) or via external platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com. For reservations made via the website itself, the full amount must be paid in advance. For reservations made via external platforms, the payment terms of the respective platform apply. A reservation is final upon confirmation and receipt of payment. 4. Cancellation Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. In the event of cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival, the full stay is due. In the event of a no-show, the full amount will be charged. 5. Arrival and Departure You will receive check-in instructions in advance via email. In your absence, we will use a key safe. You will receive instructions regarding this before arrival. Check-out must take place before 11:00 AM. 6. Deposit A deposit of €150 is required for the stay. The deposit will be refunded after inspection of the accommodation, provided no damage or irregularities are found. Any damage may be offset against the deposit. 7. House Rules The house rules apply during the stay. By making a reservation, you agree to these house rules. In the event of a violation of the house rules, the stay may be terminated immediately without refund, and costs may be charged. 8. Damage and Liability We trust that you will handle the accommodation and the items present with care. Should anything break, please let us know as soon as possible. Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or their fellow guests. Any damage may be deducted from the deposit. We are not liable for accidents, injury, loss, or theft of personal property during the stay. 9. Force Majeure In the event of force majeure, such as extreme weather conditions or government measures, a suitable solution will be sought in consultation with the guest. 10. Tourist Tax The tourist tax is not included in the price, unless stated otherwise. This is calculated via the booking system (Smoobu) or, if applicable, settled upon check-out. 11. Privacy Personal data is used exclusively for reservations and communication. Data is not shared with third parties, unless required by law. 12. Applicable Law These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
